Korda Safe Zone Sinking Rig Tube 2m

Rig tubing does two jobs. It stops the hooklink wrapping round the mainline as the rig turns over on the cast, and it keeps the line off a carp's flank during the fight. The second one matters more than it usually gets credit for.

This is sinking plastic tubing with an anti-glare finish, so it lies down on the bottom instead of shining back at anything swimming over it, and it threads easily – which is not true of every tubing.

Which colour?

• Gravel – pale brown, for clean gravel and clay.
• Weed – dark green, over weed and coloured water.
• Silt – near black, over silt and dark bottoms.
