Korda Basix Hair Rigs Wide Gape

A finished hair rig out of the packet. Put a bottom bait or a wafter on the hair and it is ready to go on the end of a lead clip leader.

They are tied with camo green Basix Coated Hooklink, with a short section stripped back behind the Basix Wide Gape hook so the hook can move. The hair itself is supple and held in place on the shank with a piece of silicone, which also keeps tangles down. At the loop end there is a Basix Anti Tangle Sleeve already fitted.

Which size?

• Size 4 – hair length set for an 18mm bait, tied to 25lb.
• Size 6 – set for a 15mm bait, tied to 18lb.
• Size 8 – set for a 12mm bait, tied to 18lb.

The stops in the pack let you shorten the hair or run a different bait size, so a size 6 will fish a 12mm bait perfectly happily if that is what you have out.
