Drennan XL Pellet Waggler 8g

The XL is the distance pellet waggler, built around Drennan's Crystal body. It comes into its own on big open water, where wind and surface skim drag a lighter float out of position before the bait has settled.

The tip is flighted so the float casts arrow-straight, and two removable disc loadings let you set both how much tip shows and how buoyantly it sits. Dive discs are supplied as well: they stop it burying on impact and make a fish-attracting noise as it lands.

It is designed to support large hookbaits – 8mm and bigger banded pellets – and works just as well with hair-rigged meat, boilies or a bunch of maggots.

Fix it on with a T-bar waggler connector, Grippa Stops or sliding float stops. Two or three Grippa Stops below the float and one or two above holds it steady without pinching the line.
