Drennan Super Spade Micro Barbed Hooks to Nylon

The Super Spade has an incurved needle point that gives it a hook hold out of proportion to its size, which is why it has been the trotting hook of choice for big chub for years.

Micro barbed and tied to 35cm of extra strong low diameter mono, eight hooklengths per packet, so there is enough length to work with on a river.

Which size?

• 10 – 8lb (0.22mm). The heaviest, for barbel, big chub and bread flake.
• 12 – 7lb (0.20mm). Worm and lobworm on a pacy swim.
• 14 – 6lb (0.18mm). Maggot and caster for chub and better roach.
