Drennan In-Line Flat Method Feeder

Loaded up, the lead in the flat base and the moulded bait together take on an aerodynamic bomb shape. That is what buys the extra distance and, more usefully, the accuracy when there is a strong wind blowing across you.

The two big bait-holding ribs are spaced wide and curve away from each other, leaving a clear gap for the hookbait to sit in. That gap lines up with the recess in a Drennan bait mould, so the hookbait ends up in the same place every cast rather than buried somewhere under the feed. The body takes a Quick Change Method Connector.

Which size?

• Small 15g – shallow water and short casts, where a heavier feeder slaps down too hard.
• Small 25g – the everyday commercial size on the small frame.
• Small 35g – the small frame with the weight to reach.
• Large 25g – more bait per cast at short to middle range.
• Large 35g – the workhorse: a full load of feed and enough weight to cast it properly.
• Large 45g – long chucks, headwinds, and holding on a slope.
