Blue Fox Vibrax Hot Pepper Size 2 6g Spinner

Hot Pepper takes the Vibrax Original body and puts a high-contrast spotted blade on it. The dots break up the flash into something a predator reads as movement rather than a flat sheet of metal, and the effect is a reaction strike from fish that would follow a plain spinner and turn away.

Underneath, it is the same two-part machined brass body that virtually eliminates line twist, with the free-turning brass gear rattling away inside as the blade spins. The 45 degree blade runs it at 0.6 to 1.2 metres on a steady retrieve.

Size 2 at 6g suits perch, chub and trout on light spinning tackle, and it casts well enough on a 7ft rod to cover a canal or a small river.

Which colour?

• Copper / Yellow / Red (CYR) – copper blade with red spots ringed in yellow. The warm option for stained water and low light.
• Green / Yellow / Red (GYR) – olive-gold blade with the same red and yellow spotting. A shade closer to a natural fish flank.
