A swivel with a free-running ring at one end, which gives the hooklink far more movement than a plain eye ever will. It is one of those components that ends up in half the rigs in the box.
Which size?
- Size 8 – drops into the nose of a Lead Clip and adds extra movement to the hooklink. The one for lead clip and inline set-ups.
- Size 11 – the helicopter choice. The ring rotates more freely on the line or leader than a conventional swivel does.
