Mainline Baits Cell Floaters 3kg

Surface fishing lives and dies on getting fish confident enough to take a bait off the top. These floaters carry a blend of attractive oils lifted with the Cell food source flavour, so the slick coming off a few handfuls does the persuading for you.

They are primarily a loose feed, but either size will drill for a hair or soak down soft enough to fish straight on the hook, which gives you a hookbait that matches the free offerings exactly.

Which size?

• 7mm – the smaller pellet. More baits to the handful, so a scattering covers more surface and fish get less of a mouthful each time.
• 11mm – the bigger pellet. It catapults further and more accurately in a wind, and it is easier to drill for a hair.

How to use them

• Loose feed – catapult a few at a time and build the confidence before you cast.
• Drilled hookbait – a drilled floater on a short hair sits level with the freebies.
• Soaked hookbait – soften one in lake water and side-hook it.
