Korda Sriracha Supreme Goo

Chilli in carp bait is a long-standing edge, and Sriracha takes it further than most: the heat of chilli, a hint of garlic, and a sweetness underneath that sets it apart from other chilli attractors. The aroma is spicy and sweet at the same time, and it brings on an aggressive feeding response.

The consistency is syrupy, so it works as a hookbait soak, goes into PVA bags, and mixes into spod. In the water it gives an immediate cloud and then keeps seeping out of the bait over many hours. It stays effective in cold water as well as warm.

Supreme is the thin end of the Goo range. Left long enough it soaks right into the core of a bait rather than sitting on the skin, so the hookbait keeps leaking attraction for hours after it lands. It stays soluble in cold water, and the colour releases with the flavour to put a halo around the bait.

Where to use it

• Soaking hookbaits – the longer they sit in it the deeper it gets, so a sealed tub and a few days beats a splash on the bank.
• PVA bags and stick mixes – a squeeze through the nozzle straight into the bag.
• Spod mixes and groundbait – to carry the same smell through the baited area.
• Blended with another Goo – to build a smell, taste and colour nobody else on the lake is using.
