Korda Spicy Squid Smoke Goo

Sweet, strong and unmistakably squid. The Spicy Squid Smoke throws a pink cloud that looks subtle in the water and does anything but behave subtly – it has been catching consistently for years. There is a Spicy Squid Supreme in the range as well, and the two are meant to work together – this one on the outside of the bait, that one soaked through the middle.

Smoke is the thick end of the Goo range. It is meant for the outside of a bait rather than the inside, so it stays put through the cast and then hangs as a cloud around the hookbait. Dry it onto a bait that has already been soaked in a Supreme and you get two rates of release off one hookbait.

Where to use it

• Straight onto a hookbait – it is thick enough to stay on through the cast rather than wiping off in the rings.
• Dried onto a soaked bait – over a bait that has already had a Supreme through it, for a crust on the outside and a reservoir inside.
• Solid PVA bags and Method feeders – and on floaters, where it needs to hold on rather than disperse.
• Spod mixes and groundbait – to put a cloud down through the water column over the spot.
