Korda Buttercorn Supreme Goo

Buttercorn smells like fresh popcorn – buttery and sweet – and it is white, so it is the one to reach for if you fish white hookbaits or like the washed-out look. It has taken carp of every size through testing, on hookbaits, in stick, Method and bag mixes, and as a light glaze over loosefeed.

Supreme is the thin end of the Goo range. Left long enough it soaks right into the core of a bait rather than sitting on the skin, so the hookbait keeps leaking attraction for hours after it lands. It stays soluble in cold water, and the colour releases with the flavour to put a halo around the bait.

Where to use it

• Soaking hookbaits – the longer they sit in it the deeper it gets, so a sealed tub and a few days beats a splash on the bank.
• PVA bags and stick mixes – a squeeze through the nozzle straight into the bag.
• Spod mixes and groundbait – to carry the same smell through the baited area.
• Blended with another Goo – to build a smell, taste and colour nobody else on the lake is using.
