Description
A traditional silverfish pattern, barbless, hand tied to 30cm of Acolyte fluorocarbon. Fine in the wire but still strong, with needle points that go on hooking fish after fish.
Ideal baits are maggots, casters and worms, and the soft fluorocarbon hooklength gives you presentation that a stiffer mono will not.
Which size?
- 14 – 3lb (0.14mm). The strongest of the three, for worm and double maggot.
- 16 – 2lb 8oz (0.12mm). The one most people fish for roach and skimmers.
- 18 – 2lb (0.10mm). Single maggot or pinkie on a hard day.
