Drennan Acolyte Margin Carp Barbless 6" Hook Plates

Margin Carp is the strong end of the Acolyte hook plate range, tied for the fish that turn up down the edge in the last hour. Sharp, long-life needle points on a pattern built for pellets, corn, meat and bunches of maggots.

Eight hooklengths per 6″ (15cm) plate, tied barbless to Acolyte fluorocarbon and kept flat and straight under slight tension.

Which size?

• 10 – 7lb (0.21mm). The heaviest here, for margin carp on meat or a big bunch of maggots.
• 12 – 6lb (0.19mm). Hard pellet and corn against the near bank.
• 14 – 6lb (0.19mm). Same line as the 12 with a smaller hook, for 6mm pellet.
• 16 – 5lb (0.17mm). Down-scaled for F1s and shy margin fish.
