Drennan Acolyte Carp Pellet Barbless 6" Hook Plates

The Carp Pellet is the bagging pattern in the Acolyte hook plate range. It takes bigger baits happily: pellets, corn, meat and bunches of maggots, and it is tied to line heavy enough to keep a decent commercial carp out of trouble.

Eight hooklengths per 6″ (15cm) plate, held under slight tension so each one comes off straight.

Which size?

• 10 – 6lb (0.19mm). Meat, corn and 8mm pellet when the carp are having it.
• 12 – 5lb (0.17mm). The middle ground, and the one to start on.
• 14 – 5lb (0.17mm). Same line as the 12, smaller hook for 6mm pellet.
• 16 – 4lb (0.16mm). F1s and skimmers on 4mm pellet or a single grain of corn.
