Guru QM1 Bait Bands Rigs 4"

Ready-tied 4in hooklengths with a micro bait band on the hair, so a hard pellet, wafter or pop-up goes on in seconds. A short piece of 0.3mm micro silicone on the shank keeps the band and the hair sitting where they should.

The QM1 is a heavily swept, short-shank pattern with a beaked offset point and a PTFE coating that keeps it sharp longer. It is a running-line hook first and foremost: feeder and bomb work, pellet waggler, and the pole situations where you want that bit more hook hold.

They come pre-tied on rig boards, eight rigs to a pack, on Guru's N-Gauge line.

Which size?

• Size 12 (0.19mm, 7lb) – the strongest here, for bigger banded baits and the better fish.
• Size 14 (0.19mm, 7lb) – same line, smaller hook. The everyday banded pellet size for carp and F1s.
• Size 16 (0.17mm, 6lb) – a step down in both hook and line for smaller baits and harder days.
