Drennan Wide Gape Carp Barbless 6" Hook Plates

A strong hook with a wide crystal bend and a flat, slightly square shape to it. Baits sit down in that bend rather than perching on it, and the short shank disappears inside the bait, which is why it holds big soft offerings like meat so well.

Eight barbless hooklengths per 6″ plate, kept flat and straight under slight tension.

Which size?

• 12 – 7lb (0.20mm). The strongest, for cubes of meat and bigger carp.
• 14 – 6lb (0.18mm). Corn and smaller pieces of meat.
• 16 – 5lb (0.16mm). Scaled down for F1s and lighter baits.
