Drennan Carp Maggot Barbless 6" Hook Plates

The Carp Maggot is a stronger version of the Silverfish Maggot and it is finished in red, which is why it gets used with red maggot on commercials where carp keep turning up among the silvers.

Barbless, with a medium/long shank, a swept crystal bend and a chemically etched long needle point. Eight hooklengths per 6″ plate, held straight under slight tension.

Which size?

• 14 – 4lb (0.15mm). The strongest of the three, for double or treble maggot.
• 16 – 3lb 8oz (0.14mm). Double maggot, and the size to start on.
• 18 – 3lb (0.13mm). Single maggot when the fish are backing off.
