Description
The barbless Maggot Plus, hand tied to 30cm of Acolyte fluorocarbon. Same classic maggot pattern as the micro barbed version, without the barb, so it is the one for fisheries that insist on it.
Good for maggots, casters and short sections of worm when you are targeting small to medium fish, and the soft fluorocarbon keeps the bait moving naturally.
Which size?
- 14 – 4lb (0.16mm). The strongest here, for worm or a bunch of maggots.
- 16 – 3lb (0.14mm). The middle size and a sensible default.
- 18 – 2lb 8oz (0.12mm). Single maggot or caster for smaller fish.
