The thing that finishes off most catapults is the elastic twisting up. The Revolution answers that with a frame-end attachment that revolves freely on super-slick rotation bearings, and a straight attachment peg that sits in the line of pull so the elastic wears evenly rather than at one point.

The pouches are moulded from a super-tough polymer under strict moulding conditions, because hard pellets fired session after session will destroy a soft one. The cluster feed shape, with the rotation bearings, is what holds the bait in a tight spread rather than scattering it. The handle is shaped to sit in the hand properly.

Which elastic?

• Strong (Green) – the larger frame with Strong latex. Pellet waggler and standard float work with maggots and casters, right up to 8mm and 10mm pellets, and it will fire small pigeon-egg balls of groundbait.
• X-Strong (Orange) – large frame, X-Strong latex. The more powerful elastic is for 8mm and 10mm pellets at range or into a wind, and for pouching maggots and casters as far as you can.
