Korda Intelligent Backlead

A backlead pins your line to the bottom between rod tip and rig, keeping it out of the way of patrolling fish and out of the path of boat traffic. The Intelligent Backlead clips on with one hand and slides freely down the line to settle where it should.

The nylon ring it runs on is low friction, so line still moves through it and bites register properly rather than being deadened. If it finds a snag on the way back it pulls free of the mainline instead of taking the rig with it.

Which weight?

• 0.5oz – the lighter of the two, for closer range and the least disturbance going in.
• 1.5oz – the heaviest Korda make in this pattern, for holding line down at range or against tow.
