Korda Kurv Shank Barbed Carp Hooks

The Kurv Shank is the curved-shank pattern behind a lot of well-known carp rigs, and it works for pop-up and bottom bait presentations alike – including the KD and the IQ D-rig.

The aggressively in-turned eye and curved shank flip the hook over so it takes hold inside the mouth, even when it is fished without shrink tube or a Kicker. The long, needle-sharp point does the rest.

Which size?

• Size 6 – the larger of the two, for bigger hookbaits and rigs carrying more metalware.
• Size 8 – a step down for smaller baits and a neater, less obtrusive presentation.
