Trakker Blowback Rig

A ready-tied blowback rig on 25lb Semi Stiff Coated Hooklink, with a small rig ring on the shank of a Clinga BP hook. The ring lets the bait slide back on the take, so the hook resets and turns rather than being held shut by the boilie.

The braid is stripped back behind the hook to give the bait free movement, and a Hook Rigger sets the point angle identically on every rig in the pack. A small anti-tangle sleeve sits at the loop end, which clips straight onto a quick-change swivel.

Which hook?

• Size 4 – the largest in the range, suited to 20mm boilies, snowman presentations and double baits.
• Size 6 – the middle ground, and where to start if you are unsure. Comfortable with a 15mm or 16mm bait.
• Size 8 – the smallest, for wafters, small pop-ups and pressured fish that back off a bigger hook.

Micro barbed or barbless is the same rig either way. Choose barbless where the fishery rules require it; the micro barb is the choice everywhere else.
