The Compact Carryall trades outright volume for organisation. It holds 35 litres against the standard NXG Carryall's 55, but adds a fifth external pocket and stiffens the main lid so it doubles as a bivvy table once the bag is on the floor.
That makes it the one to pick if you fish short overnighters or move swims often, and would rather have your kit split across pockets than buried in one compartment.
